I'M BACK.
As well as dsl. Sucks having to wait for dsl people to fix the stuff for you. They're just perfectly slow. Well Im back so now im going to tell you about my days perfectly away from civilization.
DSL died on me. downloads are perishable goods. they cannot wait forever. i cannot wait forever. i realized something very important this past week. I HAVE TO SEIZE THE DAY. I have to download as much as I can because one day dsl might be perfectly fine then the next it might get screwed up beyond repair.
my cousin, beyond repair. beyond recognition.my cousin stayed with us for a day. it was fun hanging out with the kid up until.. she cried while we were eating at shakeys. my gawd. people have to grow up and get a grip of themselves. she started crying because she wanted to go home. sure. ill kick you right out of manila.
of tagaytay business.. there'll be just four of us in the end. it's a date. a foursome date. anna, ochie, me and abe-j. well be missing a lot of people at tagaytay. i hope we have fun nevertheless. i hope some people change their minds about the trip. i mean i wanted everyone to go. i wanted to have fun before plummetting myself into this abyss called university of santo tomas college of nursing. i wanted to see everyone again before everyone starts forgetting friends.
it sucks you know.
of the long due description of the luneta trip..
the luneta trip was the most fun gimmick ive been to since the laguna trip last year. we met at ust at around 11 and left school five minutes later. we rode a jeep to luneta.. not really.
we got off at intramuros. for non-manila people.. that's a long way off luneta. well of course we did take a look around the outside the great walls of the walled city. ochie suggested wall climbing on the walled city. OBVIOUSLY we didnt do anything of that sort. Instead we got a cab to ship ourselves to luneta.
at the grandstand, it wasn't as grand as we had hoped for it to be. though, it was really fun sitting there joking around under the blazing sun. then we met up with rainey for lunch.
we ate at yellowcab. sabi namin kay anna happy birthday para di na niya kami pabayarin. but in the end it didn't work. haha. rainey had to go early so she dropped us off at BAYWALK!!
the smelliest place on earth! joke. we were standing at baywalk. standing standing. it was obviously a night spot.. not a day spot. we had to abandon our plans of shooting a video at that time because it was TOO HOT. then we had an idea. why not go to mall of asia! so we stood at the side of the highway waiting for a cab. nothing most positively happened at baywalk. we had to cross streets to find ourselves a cab. OFF TO MALL OF ASIA!
mall of asia is enormous. like a spacey overstretched megamall. it's like giving every stall in megamall a shop about the size of bench or marks and spencer. it was really hot inside the mall because it was mostly open space. if you wanted air conditioning you have to enter one of their stores. Gawd the variety of people there was like festival mall. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO AMBIENCE. It was really overstretched. Not in the least the mall i want to hang out in for the rest of my summer break. it was so big that it took us thirty minutes to find two separate timezones. THIRTY MINUTES LOOKING FOR TIMEZONE IS UNHEARD OF IN MY WORLD. We had lots of fun at timezone. BUT OF COURSE.
soemthing really weird happened to me again. two things actually. while i was playing the zombies attacking you game (at the moment i can't recall the name), a mum approached me and my friend and asked that her kid play with me because she wanted to go home and her kid insisted on playing the game (it was a two player game). it was weird because it usually NEVER HAPPENS. i mean dang. NAKISAWSAW DAW BA! that's weird. the second weird thing was this kid staring at me at jolibee. so after timezone, we were so parched that we wanted a drink anywhere so we went to jolibee. lo and behold a kid approaches our table and stares at me. i did the most natural thing to do. I STARED BACK. which obviously scared the kid like shit. mums. teach your kids never to stare at people or else they might get knifed.
so we got on a cab after that to get back to baywalk to meet up the debs. the cab driver asked us for 150. we told him no. we told him, "ibaba niyo na lang kami". then the guy agreed to 100. since we were overloaded and it was traffic, we told him sure hell okay. so we got to baywalk.
ANDAMING TAO SA BAYWALK PAG GABI. haha. so we sat down the side overlooking the bay. it wasn't so pretty but it was peaceful. well we talked about a lot of things like the future, the ninja turtles, high tide and low tide and of course the kid swimming. after a bit we started looking for a place to eat. we found a place with great food and music. alamid was singing. it was utterly perfect. jean made a request for alamid to sing your love. alamid frontman said sa second set daw nila tutugtogin. we never got to hear the song be dedicated to us.
the ride home wasn't a disappointment as well. it was laughter filled and utterly draining. i got home at around 10:30 i think. not bad. considering the traffic. i loved everything about this trip. conclusion is. we're old and we rock.
